The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development has a requirement to provide closing agent services for the sale of HUD-owned single family (1-4 units) properties located in Northern Mississippi. The counties where the services are required include: Alcorn, Benton, Bollvar, Calhoun, Carroll, Chickasaw, Choctaw, Clay, Coahoma, De Soto, Grenada, Itawamba, Lafayette, Lee, Leflore, Lowndes, Marshall, Monroe, Montgomery, Oktibbeha, Panola, Pontotoc, Prentiss, Quitman, Sunflower, Tallahatchie, Tate, Tippah, Tishomingo, Tunica, Union, Washington, Webster, and Yalobusha. The primary objective is to perform closings of HUD-owned properties within 60 miles of the subject property. The contractor is expected to coordinate with the Asset Manager (AM) contractor to accomplish the closings with the allotted timeframes. The contract duration will be for one-year base year period and two one-year options. More detailed information concerning the work requirements will be provided in the solicitation. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available on the Federal Business Opportunity website on or after 04/22//2010.
