AI Contract Overview
The Mt. Olympus Improvement District is seeking qualified Construction Manager/General Contractor firms to provide pre-construction services for two related Utah Transportation Authority projects—Trunkline A Relocation and Trunkline A Resiliency—under a single contract with the possibility of transitioning to construction services if a guaranteed maximum price is agreed upon. Though the projects are accounted for separately under Task Order #1 and Task Order #2, the District strongly prefers a single CM/GC to manage both to ensure coordination and efficiency. All proposers must attend a mandatory pre-proposal meeting on August 13, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in Salt Lake City, followed by a mandatory site tour; failure to attend either portion will result in automatic disqualification. Information shared during these events will not alter the RFP unless formally issued as a written addendum via BonFire. Proposals are due by September 2, 2026, and must be submitted through the designated portal. The solicitation number is MTOID03-2026, and inquiries should be directed to Giles Demke at gdemke@mtoidut.gov.

Full Description
The District will conduct a Pre-Proposal meeting for those interested in responding to the RFP. Attendance at this meeting by at least one authorized representative of each Proposer is mandatory. Failure to attend the mandatory pre-proposal meeting and sign the District’s attendance log will result in disqualification. The meeting will be held at 3932 S 500 E, Salt Lake City, UT 84107 at 10:00 a.m. local time on August 13, 2026. At this meeting, the District will offer information about the Project and the procurement process. Those who attend the Pre-Proposal meeting will have the opportunity to tour the Project site following the meeting to familiarize themselves with site conditions and constraints. Attendance at the site tour immediately following the meeting is also mandatory, and failure to attend the entire meeting and site tour will result in disqualification. Statements made during the meeting or site tour will not modify the RFP unless incorporated into a written addendum issued through BonFire.
