The VA Medical Center White River Junction, Vermont, & Research Service intends to award a sole source contract with Laura Gibson, PH D of Burlington, Vermont, to perform a follow-on services contract for the Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS) Research Support Service. Dr. Gibson has previously provided field research, interviews and has authored articles and papers for the CMHS-NCPTSD Interagency Agreement and other similar projects. Dr. Gibson's unique knowledge/experience in this area is vital to the continuance of the project. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; No solicitation package will be available. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is entirely within the discretion of the Government.
