1. The Defense Information Systems Agency, Ft Meade, intends to negotiate a sole source award with Harris Technical Services Corporation located at 21000 Atlantic Boulevard, Dulles, VA, for Crisis Management System (CMS) Maintenance and Engineering support (full range of (1) engineering support and (2) preventive and emergency maintenance to ensure continued extremely high reliability and availability of Top Secret(TS)/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) video and voice IP communications services to all the CMS). The resulting contract will be an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity award. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source pursuant to the authority of FAR 6.302-1 "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements." Interested persons may identify their interest and capability statement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
