This notice is to identify all prospective offerors within the Republic of Turkey in submitting proposals for the upcoming solicitation of Project LJYC 09-1005, CNS/INS Solar System, Various Buildings, Incirlik AB Turkey. This requirement is for the removal of existing old and nonfunctioning solar water heating systems and installation of new solar water heating systems complete with solar panels, storage tanks, piping, circulation pump, automatic temperature control systems and all other necessary accessories and fittings for various buildings on Incirlik Air Base. The work involved includes, but not limited to: electrical, civil, mechanical, and architectural works. All prospective offerors must be registered with CCR and submit a DUNS number as well. The intended award is anticipated to be a firm-fixed price type contract. The formal solicitation is expected to be released on or about 3 Aug 2009. Proposal will be due 30 days after the solicitation release date. ATTENTION POTENTIAL OFFERORS: IMPORTANT INFORMATION CONCERNING ELIGIBILITY FOR AWARD OF THIS SOLICITATION. DUE TO ESTABLISHED ECONOMIC AGREEMENTS BETWEEN THE UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT AND THE GOVERNMENT OF TURKEY, THE AIR FORCE INTENDS TO AWARD THIS SOLICITATION TO A BUSINESS CONCERN WITHIN THE COUNTRY OF TURKEY.
