Amendment No. 0002 - Purpose of this amendment is being issued to correct/make clarification to the PWS; revise schedule B and addresses questions received. Solicitation Number: R17PS00011 Cold Storage for Reverse Osmosis Membranes The Department of Interior, Bureau of Reclamation Yuma Area Office (YAO) anticipates issuing Request for Quote (RFQ) R17PS00011 for cold storage services for approximately 519 pallets of reverse osmosis membranes for one (1) base year and four (4) option years. As part of the requirement the contractor would be responsible to include bearing the responsibility for physical damage or loss thereof, and the required Property Damage Insurance shall be provided in accordance with the addenda to FAR Clause 52.212-4, Department of Interior WBR 1452.228-70 Liability Insurance (Jul 1996). This solicitation is a competitive 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 493120 Refrigerated Warehousing and Storage with a small business size standard of $27.5 million. This acquisition will be pursued in accordance with FAR Part 12, Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5 Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract as a result of this solicitation to Lowest Price Technically Acceptable quote. It is anticipated that the RFQ will be posted approximately February 3, 2017. Quotes will be due on or around February 24, 2017. The Government anticipates award of this procurement no later than March 17, 2017. Offerors are required to have a current registration on the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for contract award. Offerors may register on SAM at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. No documents will be available until the solicitation is issued.
