Synopsis: This notice constitutes the official combined presolicitation notice with the solicitation for the acquisition and installation of Magnetic Resonance (MR) Linac System for Radiation Therapy

Background: NCI requires an integrated MR Linear Accelerator System for precise, concurrent imaging and treatment of cancer patients. This requirement consists of a 1.5 Tesla MR Imaging Scanner with an integrated digital linear accelerator generating a 7 MV photon beam coupled with state-of-the-art 160 leaf multi-leaf collimator (MLC), all within a fixed reference coordinate system; so that the images are directly mapped to the radiation treatment plan. This requirement includes an on-line adaptive planning system; including a server and treatment planning/ review workstation.
