Communal Entrance Doors Qualifying Long-Term Agreement

VIVID Housing Ltd is seeking a qualified contractor to enter into a Qualifying Long-Term Agreement for the installation and replacement of communal entrance doors across its housing portfolio. The scope of work includes the survey, design, manufacture, supply, and installation of various door types, including steel, aluminium, timber, composite, and UPVC sets, as well as associated components such as glazing, curtain walling, and door entry access control systems. The appointed contractor will be responsible for conducting property surveys, consulting with residents, and ensuring minimal disruption during the delivery of works. All activities must strictly adhere to current Building Regulations, relevant British Standards, fire safety and accessibility requirements, and Secured by Design standards. The contract is estimated to have a total value of 6,000,000 GBP including VAT, with an initial performance period from March 15, 2027, to March 14, 2029, and a possible extension structure of 1+1+1. This solicitation follows an open procedure, with the award decision based on a weighted evaluation of 60 percent for quality criteria and 40 percent for commercial price criteria.
