Full Description

The 700th Contracting squadron has a future requirement to provide expanded communication services SERVICE DESCRIPTION: The Contractor shall supply all personnel, material, equipment, and transportation required to perform various engineering and installation tasks as outlined in individual Delivery Orders (DO's), pursuant to the PWS, Appendix 30 and the Equipment Performance Specification (EPS). All work shall be completed IAW applicable local regulations and all regulations outlined in the PWS and appendices'. In general, delivery orders include engineering and installation requirements outside the scope of 435 CS personnel that support the following services: BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The purpose of this acquisition is to provide for Communications Expanded Services, to include Technical Solution & Cost Estimate (TS&C). Examples of expanded services include, but are not limited to: future equipment installations, removals or relocations; installation or removal of cables/transmission media as required to support new requirements; installation of telecommunications wiring in dormitories, military family housing, visiting airmen's and officer's quarters, temporary lodging facilities, etc. It is anticipated that this contract shall cover all military facilities in the Kaiserslautern Military Community (KMC) and Sembach Annex. The KMC is defined as Ramstein AB, Kapaun AB, Vogelweh AS, Einsiedlerhof AS, Rhine Ordnance Barracks, Pulaski Barracks, Weilerbach Weapons Storage Area, Bann, Landstuhl, and any government owned infrastructure connecting these facilities. Tasks assigned may encompass several areas simultaneously or may be limited to one. Solicitation will be posted on or about the 15th of August 2008.
