Community Center IT Room AC Replacement

The Town of Waterford is soliciting bids under IFB# 26-010 for the removal and replacement of the ductless split air-conditioning system serving the IT/Data Room at the Community Center located at 24 Rope Ferry Road. The scope of work includes the installation of a new indoor cassette fan coil unit, outdoor condensing unit, refrigerant piping, condensate pump and drainage, electrical disconnects, and power/communication wiring. The contractor is responsible for all associated roof penetrations and flashing, which must be performed by an authorized and licensed Sarnafil roofing contractor. An optional Add Alternate Bid #1 is available for the replacement of wood sleeper supports for built-in refrigerator and freezer condensing units. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder, with a response deadline of October 13, 2026. Performance must be completed within 90 days of the Notice to Proceed, with liquidated damages of 1,000 dollars per calendar day for defaults. Financial requirements include a bid bond of 10 percent for bids exceeding 50,000 dollars, as well as performance and payment bonds.
