VIA Rail Canada Inc. is looking for suppliers providing compensation claims consulting services for the following categories: A.           Quebec (requirement: be a lawyer) B-1.        Ontario: consultant B-2.        Ontario: lawyer C-1.        Manitoba: consultant C-2.        Manitoba: lawyer D-1.       Western Provinces (British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan): consultant D-2.       Western Provinces (British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan): lawyer E-1.        Atlantic Provinces (New Brunswick and Nova Scotia): consultant E-2.        Atlantic Provinces (New Brunswick and Nova Scotia): lawyer The Tenderer can submit the tender response for one or more categories. A Tenderer could be selected for one or more categories or various Tenderers could be selected for the same categories.     In order to submit a tender, the Tenderer must be able to comply with the following mandatory criteria: Language For the services in Quebec:           The Tenderer must be able to deliver all the services specified in Part B, Appendix A, to VIA in both official languages of Canada. For the services in other categories:           The Tenderer must be able to deliver all the services specified in Part B, Appendix A, to VIA in English. The team lead must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in compensation claims consulting services.  All the resources allocated to VIA must have a minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in the field of Worker’s Compensation Claims Consulting Services in railway industry in the categories mentioned above. Tenderer must have the experience with self-insured corporations dealing with the: A. Quebec: Commission des normes de l'équité de la santé et de la sécurité du travail (CNESST) B. Ontario: Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) C. Manitoba: Worker’s Compensation Board of Manitoba, WCB D. Western Province: WorkSafe BC D. Western Province: Workers Compensation Board of Alberta, WCB D. Western Province: Saskatchewan Workers' Compensation Board, WCB E. Atlantic Province: WorkSafe NB E. Atlantic Province: Workers' Compensation Board of Nova Scotia, WCB-NS For the Tenderer who offers the legal consulting services in A. Quebec, B-2: Ontario, C-2: Manitoba, D-2. Western Provinces (British Columbia, Alberta, and Saskatchewan), E-2. Atlantic Provinces (New Brunswick and Nova Scotia): Be an active member of the Bar Association for the province(s) in each category for which the Tenderer submitted the tender (Barreau du Québec, Ontario Bar Association, Manitoba Bar Association, British Columbia Bar Association, Law Society of Alberta, Law Society of Saskatchewan, Law Society of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia Barristers' Society) VIA requires that data be stored in Canada and not transferred, copied, communicated, hosted outside of Canada.
