Texas A&M AgriLife Research is soliciting bids under solicitation AG-RSCH-ITB-6544 for comprehensive corn, soybean, and wheat farming services. The scope of work includes land preparation, planting, fertilizer and chemical applications, harvesting, hauling, and storage across various Texas locations. This is a blanket order contract, meaning provided quantities are estimates based on past yields and do not guarantee purchase. The initial contract term runs from the date of award through December 31, 2026, with the option for four one-year renewals extending the agreement through December 31, 2030. Bids must be submitted by January 9, 2026, with a prior question deadline of January 2, 2026. Award decisions will be based on best value criteria, including purchase price, vendor reputation, quality of services, and past relationship with the agency. Awarded vendors must provide a current pesticide applicator's license and a certificate of insurance naming the agency as an additional insured before starting work. Additionally, a HUB Subcontracting Plan is required for bids exceeding 100,000 dollars or for those intending to renew annually. Payment terms are Net 30 days. While contract pricing must remain firm for the initial term, vendors may request price adjustments prior to renewal dates, which are capped at 5 percent annually and require mutual written agreement. The contract is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and all services must adhere to the detailed Farm Services Specifications.
