Compression Garments and Accessories

The contract pertains to the provision of compression garments and accessories under the Saskatchewan Aids to Independent Living (SAIL) Compression Garment Program, designed for clients with serious medical conditions that cannot be effectively managed by conventional methods like elevation or medication. Conditions covered include hypertrophic scarring, chronic lymphedema, paraplegia, deep vein thrombosis, and histories of ulceration, all requiring compression pressures of 20 mmHg or higher. This program, administered by the Ministry of Health’s Drug Plan and Extended Benefits Branch in collaboration with the Saskatchewan Health Authority, supports approximately 1,500 eligible Saskatchewan residents annually with often customized garments tailored to their specific medical needs. This solicitation, identified as SK-8851-Continuous, represents a continuous onboarding process for suppliers interested in supporting the program. Prequalified suppliers from this ongoing request for supplier qualifications (RFSQ) are not required to submit additional responses unless newly applying.
