Concrete

The Boone County Public Works Department is soliciting bids for the provision of various concrete materials for the period of January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027. The scope of work includes the supply of multiple concrete types, including 3500 PSI Class A, 2500 PSI Class B, 3500 PSI Class P, 3500 PSI JPC/72, 4000 PSI Class AA, and flowable fill options. All concrete mixes must adhere to the current Kentucky Department of Highways Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction. Bids are due electronically by November 24, 2026, at 2:00 PM. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, with evaluation factors including product quality, conformity to specifications, bidder qualifications, and delivery timelines. Deliveries must be made F.O.B. Destination, freight prepaid, and completed within seven calendar days of order receipt. Required documentation for submission includes a W-9 form and certifications regarding non-collusion, anti-discrimination, and a drug-free workplace. Preference may be given to Kentucky resident or qualified bidders. Successful vendors may be required to obtain a Boone County Occupational License and must ensure all invoices include a valid purchase order number to receive payment.
