Storm Sewer Structures

The Boone County Public Works Department is soliciting bids under solicitation BCFY27-24 for the furnishing and delivery of various storm sewer structures, including driveway and standard headwalls ranging from 12 to 48 inches, catch basin bases with floors, and cast iron grates. The contract period is set for twelve months, running from January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027. All goods must be delivered F.O.B. Destination with freight prepaid, and delivery to County locations must be coordinated with the Contract Administrator. Bids must be submitted electronically by November 24, 2026, at 2:00 pm, and vendors are required to provide pricing for every item listed in the proposal to be considered for the award. Award decisions will be based on bidder qualifications, including financial responsibility and service capabilities, as well as product quality, delivery dates, and warranty provisions. The contractor must comply with the Federal Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, and drug-free workplace requirements. Additionally, bidders claiming Disadvantaged Business Enterprise status must provide certification with their submission. Administrative requirements include the submission of a W-9 form and strict adherence to purchase order protocols, as any purchase made without a valid purchase order number will not be paid. The County maintains the right to terminate the contract for convenience with 30 days written notice or for default by the Assistant County Administrator.
