Full Description

Binghamton University is seeking a qualified contractor to construct a small building that will be used by Student Affairs to host band practices. The project request was for a building that is “a little bit nicer than a garage”. The project includes but is not limited to the following: 1. Site work required to provide utilities to and from the building. 2. Concrete sidewalks to provide pedestrian access and accessible route to the building. 3. New building with utility closet. 4. Mechanical work for heat and cooling. 5. Electrical work to power and light the building 6. Plumbing work to provide minimal water and sanitary. 7. Fire alarm work to meet code requirements. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Thursday October 1, 2026 at 2:00 PM in conference room C of the physical facilities building. Please reference Binghamton University’s website for parking instructions. Prospective Bidders must purchase a bid set from nyplanroom.com to be considered a responsible bidder, even if the bidding documents were viewed or obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website and registered bidders will be updated periodically with addenda, list of registered plan holders, reports and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the project. All other official notification, addenda and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner or Engineer will be responsible for bidding documents, including addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website.
