The City of Lancaster, PA will receive proposals online for Manor Township Watermain Replacement Project until January 29, 2024, at 11:00AM at which time they shall be opened electronically and publicly posted on PennBid’s website. The City of Lancaster is seeking bids to replace 8,656 linear feet of eight (8) inch asbestos-cement pipe with eight (8) inch DICL pipe by open cut in Manor Township. The work generally consists of isolating and draining the existing distribution main(s), cutting, removing and properly disposing the existing line as shown on the drawings; installing, testing and disinfecting proposed fitting and pipe; and securing into place; reopening the distribution main(s); and restoring the area to full operation along with miscellaneous concrete work. All documents and solicitation details are available online at no cost on PennBid- www.PennBid.net. This Project and Contract are subject to certain special requirements.
