Alsace Township is soliciting sealed bids online via the PennBid program for Contract 26-1, Pricetown Road Sanitary Sewer Extension. All documents and solicitation details are available at no cost from PennBid at www.pennbid.bonfirehub.com. This Project is financed in part by a COVID-19 ARPA H2O PA Grant which is included in the bid documents. The grant monies must be utilized by August 15, 2026, as the grant will expire on September 30, 2026. The contract duration will extend beyond the grant expiration to 120 days from the Notice to Proceed.
The work to be covered by these Specifications consists of all labor, equipment, materials and other facilities necessary and proper to construct the Pricetown Road Sanitary Sewer Extension. The construction includes site work, erosion and sedimentation control, traffic control, installation of gravity sanitary sewer, installation of gravity sanitary sewer manholes, installation of sanitary sewer lateral connections, all required restoration of driveway, pavement, lawn, concrete, and other disturbed areas or features, testing, and televising.
Sealed bids shall be submitted and updated online via the PennBid Program until 2:00 PM on June 25, 2026. All bidders can contact the Township to visit the site. The Township contact is Jan Moore (Township Manager), and the telephone number is 610.929.5324.
Requirements for a 10% Bid Bond, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond, 10% Maintenance Bond and Contractor's Insurance are included in the Contract Documents.

Alsace Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to make such award as appears most advantageous to the Township. Bids are invited from qualified bidders.
