Solicitation # 80JSC026Q0014
NASA Johnson Space Center is soliciting quotes under solicitation 80JSC026Q0014 for a firm-fixed-price contract to develop and validate approaches to surveil, reduce risk of, and prevent or treat Venous Thrombosis (VT) during spaceflight and exploration missions. The scope of work focuses on applied research, including preflight medical screening, individual risk assessments, monitoring approaches, and prophylactic or treatment countermeasures. Specifically excluded from this effort are pharmaceutical treatments, AI/ML modeling, Earth-independent decision-making tools, and tissue chip or organoid pathophysiology development. The period of performance is established from January 7, 2027, through September 30, 2031, with a potential six-month option to extend services. The government will award the contract to the responsible offeror determined to be most advantageous based on a two-step evaluation process. Technical Acceptability and Past Performance are combined and weighted as significantly more important than price. Technical evaluations consist of a Scientific Merit Review and a Programmatic Relevancy Review. Proposals must adhere to Dual-Anonymous Peer Review guidelines, requiring a separation of anonymized and non-anonymized content. All offers must be submitted electronically by 1:00 PM CST on November 20, 2026. Solicitation # 80JSC027R0004
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration Johnson Space Center is soliciting proposals under solicitation 80JSC027R0004 for the Commercial Low Earth Orbit Destination Contract. This effort seeks a Multi-Award Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contract, utilizing a Firm-Fixed-Price structure, for the design, development, manufacture, launch, and operation of a Commercial LEO Destination System to succeed the International Space Station. The system comprises three primary components: the Crew Transportation System, the Commercial LEO Destination, and the Cargo Transportation System. Performance is measured across three capability categories ranging from one-month crew tended missions to six-month standard service missions. The contract includes a base ordering period from April 2027 through April 2035, with two subsequent option periods extending the potential performance through April 2042. Proposals are due by December 8, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. Central Time, with Volume III regarding past performance requested early on November 24, 2026. Commercial Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Destination Contract (CLDC) Technical Library
Solicitation # 80JSC025_CLDC_TECH_LIBRARY
The Commercial Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Destination Contract (CLDC) Technical Library, managed by the NASA Johnson Space Center, serves as a centralized repository of technical standards, plans, and guidelines for potential offerors. This initiative is part of a broader strategy to support the development of private LEO space destinations and supporting systems as NASA prepares for the retirement of the International Space Station. The library provides a series of data drops containing both controlled and uncontrolled technical data, including standards for docking systems, payload interfaces, and crew health operations. It also outlines specific NASA center capabilities and high-value engineering products available to industry partners to reduce technical and schedule risks. It is important to note that this activity is a special notice and does not constitute a Request for Proposals, Invitation for Bid, or Request for Quotation. No proposals are to be submitted in response to this notice, and it does not represent a commitment by the government to enter into a contract. Access to export-controlled content requires the submission of a specific request form and compliance with U.S. export regulations, including the implementation of Technology Transfer Control Plans and Non-Disclosure Agreements for foreign nationals. The library is intended to keep industry updated on current NASA technical standards in anticipation of future FAR-based acquisitions.
