Amendment 001: 
The purpose of this amendment  is to correct a spelling error on documents from "Venus Thrombosis" to "Venous Thrombosis".

Venous Thrombosis RFQ: 

This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products and commercial services prepared in accordance with the FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

This notice is being issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ) under solicitation number 80JSC026Q0014 for Venous Thrombosis (VT) .
The provisions and clauses in the RFQ are those in effect through FAC 2026-01
The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 541715 and 1000 Employees, respectively. The offeror must state in their offer their size status for this acquisition.
All responsible sources may submit an offer which must be considered by the agency.
Delivery to NASA/JSC is required within 30 days after receipt of order. Delivery must be free on board (FOB) Destination.

Offerors must provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Products and Commercial Serviceswhich is incorporated by reference.

The items under this acquisition are subject to the World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreement and Free Trade Agreements.

FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Products and Commercial Services
The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the offer responsible, whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors are in descending order of importance and must be used to evaluate offers: Technical Acceptability, Past Performance, and Price. Technical and Past Performance, when combined, are significantly more important than price.

FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Products and Commercial Services is applicable

Prospective offerors are encouraged to notify this office of their intent to submit an offer. Responses to this combined synopsis/solicitation must be received via email no later than 1:00PM CST on 11/20/2026.

The Government is not responsible for any failure attributable to the transmission or receipt of documents submitted using electronic means, including the missing of any established deadlines.

Failure to submit a complete electronic proposal by the due date and time specified for this RFQ must result in the proposal being considered late and must be handled in accordance with FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Products and Commercial Services.
