The Naval Sea Systems Command plans to modify the existing contract N00024-22-C-5530 with Saab, Inc. of Syracuse, New York, on a sole-source basis to procure additional FY2026 through FY2028 production units of the AN/SPS-77(V)3 Multi-Mode Radar system, along with accompanying engineering support labor and spares kits. This action is being publicized as a presolicitation notice with a response deadline of July 1, 2026, to allow interested parties to submit capability statements, though no formal competition is anticipated. The government retains full discretion to determine whether to proceed without competition based on any responses received. The contract will be administered by NAVSEA headquarters in Washington Navy Yard, DC, with performance taking place in Syracuse, NY. The NAICS code 334511 indicates the industrial classification for radar and navigation equipment manufacturing. Point of contact information is provided for inquiries, but responses to this notice will not be considered as formal proposals, nor will the government incur any obligation to award a contract or reimburse submission costs.
