Nature of this RFI: The Correctional Service Canada is requesting industry feedback regarding Counter-Uncrewed Aerial Systems (C-UAS) technology. Uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) are also commonly referred to as drones, Unmanned Aircraft Systems, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV), Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS). The following is a summary of the objectives of this RFI. Objectives: a. To inform industry of this forthcoming requirement; b. To identify solutions and potential approaches to meet CSC’s requirements; c. To obtain industry responses to the draft statement of work in Annex A and questions in Annex B. This RFI is neither a call for tendered nor a Request for Proposal (RFP). No agreement or contract will be entered into based on this RFI. The issuance of this RFI is not to be considered in any way as a commitment by the Government of Canada, nor as authority to potential respondents to undertake any work that could be charged to Canada.
