AI Contract Overview
Solicitation SPE2DS-26-T-433P is a request for quotations issued by the DLA Troop Support Medical Supply Chain for the procurement of five pairs of youth auxiliary crutches, sized 54-62 inches. The required items must be constructed of aluminum with push-button adjustments, double-extruded center tubes, and non-skid rubber tips, delivered completely assembled. As these are FDA-regulated devices, bidders must specify the CAGE code and part number being supplied. The delivery is set for 20 days after award, with the place of performance and delivery located in Richmond, Virginia. The contract mandates strict adherence to commercial packaging and marking standards, specifically requiring compliance with Medical Marking Standard No. 1, which supersedes MIL-STD-129, and MIL-STD-2073-1E for preservation and packing. Inspection and acceptance will occur at the destination. Administrative requirements include the use of the Wide Area WorkFlow system for electronic invoicing and payment. The solicitation incorporates various FAR and DFARS clauses, including the Buy American and Balance of Payments Program, safeguarding of covered defense information, and NIST SP 800-171 assessment requirements. All quotes must be submitted via the DLA Internet Bid Board System by September 21, 2026.
