The Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) Service Contracting Department, Portsmouth, VA 23709-5000, intends to award a firm fixed price contract for Cryogenic (Dry Ice Clean) Ventilation Duct cleaning services on the USS San Francisco using the policies and procedures of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Subpart 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. This requirement will be solicited as 100% Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code applicable to the procurement is 561790. The size standard is $7.5 million. The solicitation and all amendments issued will be in electronic form. Request for Solicitation Documents: Copies of drawings, references, specifications, etc. are available on a compact disc (CD) for contractor review. Local contractors may make arrangements for pick-up of the CD at the Contracting Activity Office once the solicitation is released. Requests for a copy of the CD from contractors outside of a 50-mile radius from this office may be accommodated by method of express mail delivery. Requests for discs shall be made no later than May 30th 2019 by 2 P.M. Eastern. THE SOLICIATION IS NOT YET AVAILABLE: however, it is expected to be available on or about May 3rd 2019.
