Scope of the Work - Charlotte County Public Schools is seeking qualified vendors to provide on-call and scheduled repair and maintenance services for custodial equipment used throughout its school facilities. The District operates schools and administrative facilities across Charlotte County, Florida, and relies on a variety of custodial equipment to maintain safe, clean, and healthy learning environments for students and staff. The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a contract with one or more qualified vendors capable of diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining custodial equipment in a timely and cost-effective manner. The District intends to award a contract based on best value, considering both pricing and qualifications. This RFP is not a commitment by CCPS to award a contract. CCPS reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, to waive technicalities, and to accept the proposal deemed most advantageous to the District. Please submit all questions/comments in writing to www.BeaconBid.com ; click on Q&A on the solicitation page. Your question/comment is immediately routed to all applicable staff for a response. We try to respond within two business days unless extensive research is required. If you have registered for this solicitation, you will receive a notification immediately after we post an answer. Questions/comments submitted after the stated Question Cut-Off Date may not be answered. Nonetheless, such a late submission shall not excuse a bidder from providing a complete and accurate solicitation response. We recommend large submissions (over 25 pages) be broken down into more than one document and be uploaded at LEAST three (3) hours before the "End date". Firms that begin uploading a few minutes before the 'End date/time' will NOT be received on time." Vendors/providers sometimes ask i) for a list of potential bidders or ii) if we will read names and prices submitted in a bid closing. Any such information will be posted on www.BeaconBid.com as we provide "notice of an intended decision or 30 days after opening the bids, proposals, or final replies, whichever is earlier".
