Custodial Services

The 413th Contract Support Brigade (CSB), Regional Contracting Office (RCO) - Alaska (AK) has a requirement for custodial services on Fort Wainwright, Alaska. Custodial services are performance based. Services include both a known and recurring component with established tasks and frequencies, and an unknown component for special events, emergencies, and as-required cleaning. This is a follow-on procurement to a firm-fixed price requirements-type contract awarded to Portco Contracting Group, LLC. The current contract expires on 28 January 2019. This acquisition is set-aside for 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVOSB) small business. The North American Industry Code Standard (NAICS) is 561720, Janitorial Services, and the Small Business Administration (SBA) small business size standard is $18 million. The intended contract award will be Firm Fixed Price with an one 1 (one) month phase in period, an 11 Month Baseand Four (4) 12-Month Option Years. The Request for Proposals (RFP) and any/all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading on Federal Business Opportunities (FBO.gov). A draft requirements document is made available under this pre-solicitation notice. It will only be offered in electronic format. No hard copies will be provided. At this time, it is unknown when a full solicitation package will be posted. RCO-AK is not seeking proposals and will not accept unsolicited proposals. When the RFP is posted, the date and time for the site visit and the closing date and time for submission of proposals will be contained in the solicitation package, which will be made available on the Government Point of Entry (GPE) website at http://www.fbo.gov at that time. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. No paper copies will be issued. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review the aforementioned site regularly for any updates/amendments. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it obligate the Government to pay for any bid/proposal preparation costs.
