The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to invite suppliers to submit a proposal to provide customs brokerage, trade compliance, logistics, and related advisory services to the University of Washington . The University of Washington (“University” or “UW”) seeks proposals from qualified firms interested in a strategic partnership with the University capable of providing customs clearance, trade compliance, and related advisory services for inbound and outbound shipments supporting University research, instructional, and administrative activities. The University anticipates awarding to one or more suppliers and reserves the right to select suppliers based on service capability, coverage, expertise, responsiveness, and best value. The selected supplier(s) shall perform services in a consultative manner and shall be able to support a decentralized operating environment in which campus departments initiate, prepare, and retain shipment documentation.
