The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to award Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation (NGSC), Electronic Systems Sector, a sole-source, Cost Plus Fixed Fee, Delivery Order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00019-15-G-0026. NGSC will perform the Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) necessary for the successful integration of the modified DoN LAIRCM, AN/AAQ-24(V), system into CV-22 aircraft. This NRE will include, but is not limited to, the design, development, integration, testing, and qualification of the modified hardware and software for AN/AAQ-24(V) integration. This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented under Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1., only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The NGSC team is the sole designer, developer, and producer of the AN/AAQ-24(V) system. As such, NGSC is the only responsible source that possesses the technical data and requisite knowledge required to meet the Government's requirement. This synopsis is for informational purposes only.
