Cyber Incident Reporting & CUI Security Compliance

The contract obligates the contractor to implement and monitor robust cybersecurity protocols specifically designed to safeguard Controlled Unclassified Information in alignment with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement requirements. This includes establishing technical and administrative safeguards to ensure CUI is protected against unauthorized access, disclosure, or compromise across all systems and networks involved in the performance of work for the Defense Logistics Agency. The contractor must also maintain comprehensive documentation of cybersecurity practices and ensure continuous compliance through regular assessments and audits. Additionally, the contractor is required to promptly detect, report, and respond to any cyber incidents affecting CUI or covered systems, adhering to prescribed timelines and reporting formats mandated by DFARS. Incident reporting procedures must include coordination with appropriate Department of Defense entities and provision of all necessary forensic data to support investigations and remediation efforts. Compliance is non-negotiable and critical to maintaining the integrity and security of defense-related information systems under the purview of the Department of Defense.
