Cybersecurity and Accreditation Support for Consolidated Networks

This contract provides comprehensive cybersecurity and accreditation support for consolidated submarine tactical networks, focusing on maintaining a single accredited security boundary. It requires full implementation of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to ensure continuous compliance with federal cybersecurity standards, including the strict application of Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) across all system components. Ongoing vulnerability scanning and assessment activities are mandated to identify, prioritize, and remediate security weaknesses in real time, ensuring the network remains resilient against evolving threats. The contractor is responsible for generating, maintaining, and submitting all documentation required for Authority to Operate (ATO) acquisition and sustainment, including System Security Plans, Security Assessment Reports, and Plan of Action and Milestones. This effort supports a critical Department of Defense asset under the purview of Nuwc Division Newport, with work performed to meet stringent naval operational and cybersecurity requirements.
