Cybersecurity and CUI Safeguarding Support

The contract seeks cybersecurity services to ensure compliance with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) requirements, specifically focusing on the protection of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI). The contractor will be responsible for implementing safeguards aligned with NIST Special Publication 800-171, including conducting a self-assessment to evaluate and document the organization’s adherence to the required security controls. This includes establishing and maintaining processes for the identification, handling, storage, and transmission of CUI, as well as ensuring all systems and personnel meet the outlined cybersecurity standards. Additionally, the contractor must provide full support for incident reporting procedures in accordance with DFARS obligations, ensuring timely and accurate notification of any security breaches or anomalies involving CUI. Services will encompass technical assistance, documentation preparation, and ongoing monitoring to sustain compliance throughout the contract period. The work is being performed as a subcontract under the Defense Logistics Agency, part of the Department of Defense, with the North American Industry Classification System code 541512 indicating the nature of the services as computer systems design and related activities. The contract is scheduled to be active starting June 24, 2026.
