Cybersecurity Compliance and CUI Safeguarding Support

This contract entails the implementation and continuous support of cybersecurity measures aligned with NIST SP 800-171 to safeguard Controlled Unclassified Information across all relevant systems and processes. It includes the full scope of establishing, maintaining, and auditing compliance with the required security controls, ensuring that all necessary technical and procedural safeguards are effectively deployed and regularly validated. Additionally, the contractor is responsible for establishing and sustaining a robust cyber incident reporting capability to meet federal mandates, enabling timely detection, response, and reporting of any cybersecurity events involving CUI. The contract also requires the flow-down of all applicable DFARS cybersecurity requirements to subcontractors, ensuring third-party entities adhere to the same security standards as the prime contractor. This involves vetting, monitoring, and enforcing compliance throughout the supply chain, including documentation, training, and contractual obligations that align with Department of Defense expectations.
