Cybersecurity Compliance & Incident Reporting Support

The contract supports the prime contractor in achieving and maintaining compliance with NIST Special Publication 800-171 security controls and fulfilling the cyber incident reporting requirements mandated by DFARS 252.204-7012. This includes assisting with the implementation of technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect controlled unclassified information within nonfederal systems, as well as providing guidance and operational support for timely detection, reporting, and response to cyber incidents involving covered defense information. The subcontractor will be expected to align processes with federal cybersecurity standards and ensure adherence to contractual obligations under the Department of Defense's information security framework. This work is performed under a subcontract tied to Defense Logistics Agency activity within the broader Department of Defense ecosystem, categorized under NAICS code 541512 for computer systems design services. The contract is intended to enhance the prime contractor's ability to meet federal cybersecurity obligations without directly managing infrastructure or systems, instead offering expertise in policy interpretation, control mapping, documentation, and reporting procedures. Performance is not restricted to a specific geographic location, and the engagement is focused on technical advisory services to ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate risk exposure for sensitive defense-related data.
