CoNexus currently supports the DVA's nationwide call center with proprietary CXM call recording and monitoring software, which is integral to the operation of various 1-800 numbers. Since CoNexus is the only authorized source for this software, the sole source procurement ensures compatibility and interchangeability with the existing system, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 and U.S. Code 41 U.S.C. 253(C)(1). The acquisition falls below the Simplified Acquisition Threshold, and this notice is not a solicitation for competition but invites potential suppliers who can meet the requirements to submit written capabilities by March 3, 2008, for the Contracting Officer’s consideration regarding possible competitive procurement. This procurement action is managed by the Network Contract Office 19 under the Department of Veterans Affairs, with the place of performance in Topeka, KS, and the office address located in Greenwood Village, Colorado. The sole source justification is based on CoNexus’s exclusive rights to its proprietary software critical to the VA call center’s operations. All responses must be submitted in writing to the designated point of contact, Barry Fetzer, with no phone inquiries accepted.
