For the period of 01 January 2015 through 31 May 2015, the Fleet Logistics Center (FLC), Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office intends to acquire, on a sole source basis, Information Technology (IT) and Information Management (IM) Services for activities in the Department of Defense Joint Medical Facilities, with the majority of services required at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC), Bethesda, MD and Fort Belvoir Community Hospital (FBCH), Fort Belvoir, VA. It is the Government’s intention to solicit for this requirement on a sole source basis with the incumbent contractor, SpecPro Technical Services, San Antonio, Texas, while the large competitive 8(a) follow-on procurement (Solicitation N00189-15-R-Z009) is put in place so there is no lapse in service due to the follow-on requirement (Solicitation N00189-13-R-Z056) taking longer than expected to award.
