D--Information Technology Support Services

The contractor shall provide personnel, management, network planning and services, help desk support, information/data management, information assurance, telecom management, quality assurance of installations, systems management, operations, maintena nce, information system engineering (to include development of new technology and equipment procurement), and information systems security/information assurance in support of current IT initiatives, and integration of said functions necessary to provide th e Director of Information Management (DOIM) and, all units under the Fort Hood DOIM purview, Information Technology (IT) support for classified and unclassified networks. Support shall also include technical support of designated unit exercises, Fort Hoo d deployments, and operational tests in which the DOIMs participation is required. The contractor shall perform the standards and specifications in this contract primarily at Fort Hood, Texas. The contractor shall follow guidelines for the operation of DOIM programs and services in accordance with all Federal, State, and local laws, directives, and regulations. The contract will be firm fixed price, requirements type with anticipated period of performance for base year, 01 AUG 05 thru 31 JUL 06, plus fo ur one-year options. The NAICS are 541511, 541512, 541513, 541513/$21M, SIC are 7371, 7373, 7376, 7379, respectively, and FSC are D301, D307, D308, D310. The Government anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP), W91151-05-R-0004, on or about 28 FE B 05 with a tentative closing date of 29 MAR 05. The RFP will be available for download on the Army Single Face to Industry websites at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil and https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. No paper copies of the solicitation will be mail ed and telephone requests will not be honored.
