Solicitation Number: W91247-11-R-0031 Notice Type: Special Notice Synopsis: The Mission and Installation Contracting Command Center - Fort Bragg, North Carolina intends to award on a sole source basis, in accordance with 10 USC 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, a contract to ProModel Corporation, 7540 Windsor Drive, Suite 300, Allentown, PA 18195 for custom predictive analytical software and services used by the US Army Forces Command (FORSCOM) to source and synchronize Army resources. This requirement is for a seven (7) month bridge for a period of performance from 1 July 2011 to 31 January 2012. The sole source will allow the Government enough time to solicit, negotiate, and award a competitive acquisition. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 541511, Custom Computer Programming Services. This is not a request for Competitive Proposals. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. A request for proposal (RFP) will be posted in the near future to engage industry for the follow-on requirement.
