D -- Local Exchange Service for 185 AFW, Ft. Dodge AGS, Sioux City, IA

The 38 EIG/PK plans to engage Frontier Communications of Iowa on a sole source basis to provide local telephone services for the 185th Airlift Wing Air National Guard Station located in Sioux City, Iowa. The services include Direct Inward Dialing (DID) numbers and trunks, Department of Defense (DOD) trunks, and additional business line features. This contract will have a performance period of five years starting from the award date, with the primary work conducted in Sioux City. This procurement is executed under the Air Force’s regulatory delegation of the General Services Administration’s exclusive authority concerning Federal Information Processing resources. The sole source justification is based on the legal authority provided by 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). The government intends to issue a Communication Service Authorization as part of this acquisition, tied to the existing basic agreement DCA200-96-H-0066.
