Full Description

The VA Bay Pines Healthcare Procurement Business Service intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR Part 6.302 to the organization Embarq FL, Inc dba Centurylink, 100 Centurytel Dr, Monroe, LA 71203-2041 for renewal of Telecom services, integrated voice services for the Bay Pines VA Health Care System, associated CBOCs, regional Vet Centers, and off site VA services. Telecommunications Voice services consisting of the following Business line (B1), Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) Primary Rate Interface (PRI), point to point private line, and special emergency facility circuits. These are used for communication in-between VA facilities, Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN), and Public Safety Answering Points (911). Along with features as caller identification, Directory published and non-published directory listing, caller redirect services for redirecting callers during time when the Medical Center telephone system is unavailable. Telecommunications data services which consist of Metro Ethernet, point to point private line, internet service provider access circuits with data speeds from 128Kpbs to 1000Mpbs. NAICS code is 517110 with a size standard of 1,500 employees. The period of performance is from October 1, 2012 through September 30, 2013. This is a notice of intent and is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. Contractors interested in providing these services should submit their statement of interest via email to contact@example.gov. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The government is not obligated to, and will not, pay for any information received from potential sources as a result of this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
