The Oklahoma National Guard (OKARNG), Purchasing and Contracting Office intends to issue a sole source purchase order to Commvault located in Oceanport, New Jersey for the renewal of support and maintenance on the Commvault Galaxy software under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. The existing Galaxy software provides the OKARNG the necessary tools to optimize data management as well as provide access and protection to the OKARNG data center. The software analyzes, replicates, protects, archives, and searches the data throughout the OKARNG. The software accesses the OKARNG storage utilization, reclaims space and offsets storage growth, secures and protects all the OKARNG's physical and virtual data, and has a rapid recovery and risk mitigation function. A purchase order valued at $28,291. is anticipated for the software support and maintenance annual renewal. This is not a request for quote, and no formal solicitation will be issued. This notice is for informational purposes only. However, all interested parties may contact the Contract Specialist listed below. Anyone interested in responding to this requirement must be able to provide compelling evidence that they can provide equivalent software in addition to the annual support and maintenance package at a reasonable cost for less than the cost of the current anticipated renewal.
