D--Upgrade the ARK system for Durham, Fayetteville, Richmond, Hampton, Salem and Salisbury VAMC from 8.2 to 8.6

Intent to Sole Source - Anesthesia Record Keeper The Department of Veterans Affairs Mid Atlantic Health Care (VISN 6) intends to negotiate sole source procurement to PICIS, in order to upgrade the existing Anesthesia Record Keeper (ARK) system from 8.2 to the 8.6 system using the VISN 6 system database for Durham, Richmond, Hampton, Fayetteville, Salem and Salisbury. Veterans Affairs has determined that this procurement should be issued as a sole source because of only (1) capable source able to fulfill the requirements of this contract. This proposed procurement is for supplies or services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. The NAICS code is 541511 and has a size standard 500 employees for this procurement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within seven (3) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements.
