Solicitation # N0001927R0054
The Naval Air Systems Command is seeking information for the F-35 JPO Enterprise Data Science and Analytics Support contract, identified by solicitation number N0001927R0054. This effort focuses on the formulation, development, and deployment of production-ready machine learning solutions, including predictive maintenance, readiness forecasting, and supply-chain optimization. The scope includes business intelligence through executive data storytelling and interactive dashboards, as well as the design of secure cloud data architectures using AWS GovCloud, Azure Government, or Snowflake. Technical deliverables must be packaged in security-hardened Docker containers and deployed via Kubernetes or OpenShift, with a requirement for ETL/ELT pipelines to maintain at least 98 percent data completeness and accuracy. The anticipated period of performance consists of one 12-month base period with four 12-month option periods. Work may be performed at contractor facilities, authorized government locations in the National Capital Region, or through approved hybrid arrangements. Due to the sensitive nature of the work, the company must be U.S.-owned and headquartered in the United States, and personnel must possess active Top Secret clearances. Key personnel requirements include a Data Science/Machine Learning Lead, an Enterprise Data Architect, and a Business Intelligence and Analytics Lead. While this is currently a sources-sought RFI and no formal solicitation exists, respondents must be registered in the System for Award Management and fall under NAICS code 541511.

AI Contract Overview

NASA Langley Research Center seeks to acquire a ZEN Upgrade and Installation, a ZEN 2009 3D Module, and two days of on-site training for the LMS Exciter System. This procurement supports the Aging Aircraft and Durability Program by allowing researchers to determine the topographical and dimensional features of samples to help mitigate premature failure of adhesive bonds. Because the government-owned confocal microscope was manufactured by Carl Zeiss MicroImaging, Inc., the agency has identified them as the sole source capable of providing the necessary software, imaging module, and specialized training. The acquisition will be conducted as a commercial item purchase following FAR Part 12 and the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of FAR Part 13. Interested organizations were invited to submit capabilities and qualifications by July 21, 2009, to determine if the procurement would be competitive. The effort is categorized under NAICS code 541511 and is managed under solicitation number NNL09302631Q.
