AI Contract Overview
The Naval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center San Diego intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract to Silverstone Systems, LLC, doing business as DAKTIC. The procurement is for a comprehensive suite of hydraulic training equipment, including a Zoom-Ready Support Package, six double-station trainers, three base systems, 54 hydraulic cylinders of various types, and a pump cavitation simulator. These items will support the Construction Mechanic C School Hydraulic course at the Naval Construction Training Center in Port Hueneme, California. The government has identified DAKTIC as the only responsible source capable of providing these specific replacements. Utilizing a different vendor would necessitate extensive curriculum modifications and instructor retraining, causing unacceptable delays to the Navy training pipeline. While this is a notice of intent for a sole source award under NAICS code 332912, interested parties may submit capability statements to the contract specialist by August 27, 2026, to demonstrate their ability to provide the required products.
