Full Description

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), intends to award additional work to AMS Consulting Group under Task Order DE-DT0002977. The additional work is to identify a pool of small business firms with energy related capabilities that can be used to perform DOE requirements. AMS Consulting Group is proposing to research multiple DOE data systems and consolidate the names and capabilities from a pool of eligible small businesses into a single database. The consolidated database will assist the OSDBU in conducting procurement planning. The period of performance for this work is May 15, 2012 ? December 31, 2012. The DOE is using FAR Subpart 8.405-6 (a)(1)(b), limited sources justification for this award. This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available for this requirement. If a firm believes the DOE should not pursue this limited sources award with AMS Con sulting Group, then they should submit a capability statement and pricing information for the requirement within (15) fifteen calendar days of publication of this notice via email to contact@example.gov. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
