AI Contract Overview

The contract invites vendors who have submitted bids on federal contracts within the past three years and participated in at least one Pre-Award or Post-Award debriefing with a federal contracting officer to provide feedback through an online survey. The government research team, jointly sponsored by the Army Acquisition Support Center and the Partnership for Public Service, is conducting a study to assess the value and effectiveness of these debriefings. The survey is designed to gather insights on whether the debriefings are useful to vendors and how the process could be improved. Participation is voluntary, anonymous, and expected to take about 10 to 15 minutes, consisting mainly of multiple-choice questions with options for narrative comments. The collected responses will be analyzed to inform recommendations aimed at enhancing federal acquisition practices, potentially influencing agency policies, publications, and training materials related to debriefings. The results will be shared with federal contracting activities operating under Federal Acquisition Regulation guidelines. While the exact details of the final report are pending, it is expected to be made accessible to interested parties around August 1, 2012. The solicitation is managed by the USA Engineering Support Center at Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, under Department of Defense oversight, and vendors are directed to participate through a specified SurveyMonkey link.

Attention all vendors! Your feedback is sought to provide feedback on the Pre-Award and Post-Award debriefing process related to federal government procurements. Background. A government research team jointly sponsored by the Army Acquisition Support Center and the Partnership for Public Service is conducting a study to determine the value and effectiveness of debriefings given by government contracting agencies to vendors bidding for federal contracts. To help make that assessment, the team has developed an on-line survey to capture feedback from vendors who have received Pre-Award or Post-Award debriefings. Target audience: All vendors who have: (a) submitted bids on federal contracts within the last 3 years; and (b) participated in at least one Pre-Award or Post-Award debriefing conducted by a federal contracting officer or agency. What is requested? Completion of the on-line survey found at the web site listed below. Why is my participation & feedback important? As the ultimate "customer" of the feedback sessions, the research team wants to know if the process is useful to you and your company and, if not, what the government can do to make it better. How long will it take to complete? 10 - 15 minutes. The survey consists of 17 questions-most of which are multiple choice along with several opportunities to add narrative remarks. Are my responses secure and anonymous? Yes. How will the results be used? The results will be summarized for analysis to determine how the debriefing process can be improved. The team plans to make the findings available to any federal contracting activity operating under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) guidelines. It is anticipated some of the recommendations will be incorporated into agency policies, publications and training material to assist the federal acquisition workforce in conducting better debriefings. Will I be able to see or access the research team's findings and report? While the details have not yet been finalized, the team plans to make the information available to all interested parties on or about 1 Aug 2012 via an amendment or another posting to FEBBIZ. ACCESS THE SURVEY NOW BY CLICKING ON THE LINK BELOW: (By clicking below, you will be redirected to a web site operated by SurveyMonkeyR. SurveyMonkeyR is not affiliated nor endorsed by FedBizOps, The Partnership for Public Service or the U.S. Government.) https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/Z6ZQL96 Thank You for your participation & feedback!
