Full Description

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price contract to IW Financial for the access to an online global security risk assessment product. IW Financial is the only vendor capable of providing extensive profiles of publicly traded companies with any ties to countries identified by the U.S. Department of State within the last three years as meeting both of the following criteria: 1) being a state sponsor of terrorism and 2) having programs for the production or proliferation of weapons of mass destruction or ballistic missile. No other source has been identified for the information required by the SEC. The period of performance will be for one (1) Base Year and four (4) Option Years, effective March 1, 2012. The SEC intends to negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1; Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Interested organizations may submit their capability statements and qualifications for the provision of this requirement. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct future competitive procurements. This is a Notice of Intent, not a solicitation. No solicitation will be issued for this sole source requirement and no other information will be provided.
