Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY), Portsmouth, Virginia, is conducting market research to identify potential sources capable of providing engineered fire suppression system installation services for diesel generator rooms located on three (3) 60T portal cranes.


The Government is seeking information from responsible contractors capable of performing work associated with special hazards fire suppression systems in accordance with applicable NFPA standards, including but not limited to:


• NFPA 12


• NFPA 72


• NFPA 2001


The work environment involves elevated industrial crane access within a shipyard/marine environment.


The Government is particularly interested in identifying small business concerns with demonstrated experience supporting:
