Online sealed proposals will be received until 10:00 AM, April 11, 2024, online via the PennBid Program at www.pennbid.bonfirehub.com and all bids received will be read aloud at the Board Meeting of the Authority at Springfield Township Municipal Building located at 50 Powell Road, Springfield, PA 19064 at 6:00 P.M. on April 17, 2024 for the Sanitary Sewer Manhole Rehabilitation at various locations. Major items include 36 manholes using cementitious lining. All Bid Documents, Construction Plans and Specifications are available online via the PennBid Program at www.pennbid.bonfirehub.com at no cost to prospective bidders. The successful bidder, who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay PennBid Program a fee of 1/3% of the contract award value. There is a minimum award fee of $100.00 and a maximum of $5,000.00. Bidders must confirm the fees associated with bidding through PennBid and the successful bidder is responsible for the fees associated with the awarded bid. Each bidder must submit with his bid, security in the form of a certified check or bid bond in the amount of not less than 10% of the total bid made payable to the order of the Darby Creek Joint Authority.
