The City of Boca Raton, Florida is accepting sealed bids for the above. This bid is for the repair and replacement of boardwalk decking and structures including associated piling work where necessary. Construction will include various types of decks throughout the City of Boca Raton comprised of pressure treated material, Ipe (also known as Brazilian hardwood) decking and composite materials. All decking projects are required to be ADA compliant. The work includes furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, services and incidentals for the as needed repairs and replacement of decking throughout facilities owned by the City of Boca Raton. This includes but is not limited to installation of piles, posts, beams, composite and timber decking, handrails, twist straps, connection plates and all incidentals required to complete the project. The projects will be located throughout the City of Boca Raton facilities. The bid is intended to be a continuing term contract. The term contract will be a five (5) year initial term, with three (3) one-year renewals options. The City will issue separate Work Orders for each individual project on an as-needed basis.
