The Department of Defense, specifically the Navair Warfare Ctr Aircraft Division, has issued an award notice for the procurement of four Defect Measurement Video Borescopes under solicitation N68335-21-R-0025. This acquisition is designated as a sole-source, firm fixed-price contract awarded to Waygate Technologies USA, LP, who serves as the original equipment manufacturer. The equipment, identified by NSN 6650-01-583-8302, is essential for supporting the Kuwait Air Force F/A-18 E-F Foreign Military Sales platform. The procurement was justified under 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) because Waygate Technologies USA, LP is the only source capable of fulfilling the technical requirements. The agency determined that seeking alternative assets would result in cost-prohibitive testing and qualification processes. The contract is managed out of Joint Base MDL, New Jersey, under NAICS code 333314.
